In Europe and Japan nobody uses a top sheet in the first place.
- ianterrell 13y agoI dated a German woman for a while. Took just a few nights at her place to convince me the top sheet is worthless and I was doing it wrong my whole life.
- rdouble 13y agoThe other thing Germany gets right with bedding is a smaller duvet for each person on the bed, instead of sleep-fighting over one bigger duvet.
- PavlovsCat 13y agoYeah, that's the first time I heard about it. Personally, I think making the bed is purely cosmetical and useless. A waste of time. Throw the blanket over a chair or something to air it out during the day, that actually beats making the bed. Doesn't look as good to some people... which sucks for them and doesn't bother me. Ahh, the joys and hard savings of an examined life ^^
- campinhos 13y agoI'm from Europe and I always used a top sheet. Isn't the duvet too hot for summer nights?
