In https://github.com/magnetikonline/webserverinstall.ubuntu12.04/blob/master/00root/etc/nginx/conf/phpfastcgi https://github.com/magnetikonline/webserverinstall.ubuntu12.... you shouldn't use if(-f .... You should use a try_files as it's a lot more optimised. If's are evil in Nginx and should be avoided as much as possible
