Barry is a Professor at the Yale School of Management. He seems to be one of the few business school faculty (i.e. not a technologist) to have founded a successful product company. As opposed to a consulting company, of which there are many examples. I remember when CK Prahalad took a leave from Michigan to start Praja, but I don't think it was very successful.
