It seems like whenever someone writes about Shuttleworth, they feel the need to point out he's a multimillionaire or something similar. More so than most other people they write about. To me, it just sounds like poor writing. Trying to "fluff" things up a bit.
- jfoster 13y agoI've actually thought the opposite. I'm surprised that his personal story doesn't get talked about more in the press. He's a guy who started a company, made a huge amount of money, became the first South African in space, and now has a company that is trying to build an operating system to dethrone Windows and OSX.
