I'm pretty sure they mean that you have to manually copy and store all your files in the Dropbox folder, where with plug, any file anywhere on your PC gets sync

I'm pretty sure they mean that you have to manually copy and store all your files in the Dropbox folder, where with plug, any file anywhere on your PC gets synced. I'm not entirely sure that's a good thing, but it's definitely different.

This can already be accomplished with Dropbox just by symlinking...
