I have a theory as to why. Discourse on serious discussion on such topics, which are scientifically unsolvable (design, business, entrepreneurship) are often deferred to those who have 'been there, done that', which of course is a logical bias. So to the humour. The issue is HN can't tell the difference between satire of itself and real advice. Each of which is probably equally valuable. Nobody wants to hear this. They all want to feel good. And get rich! And have authority! Humour has no place here...
