How exactly does copyright work on fantasy user interfaces? Can someone create an app with the same style of interface as some of these, or is that a violation of something?
- krapp 13y agoIANAL but I imagine they just count as works of graphic design or art, so they would be copyrighted like anything else related to a program. People have made interfaces based on the LCARS from Star Trek of course, though, but I assume either with permission from Paramount or not for profit.
