If you want the long and boring details, it's in this pull request: https://github.com/dotcloud/docker/pull/602 https://github.com/dotcloud/docker/pull/602 Dockerlite doesn't have those features, though (keep in mind that dockerlite is just a playground for funky features, nothing else!)

Great! Thanks for pointing that out. I had read through the tremendous number of comments around that feature a month ago, and didn't expect it to make it through committee already. It's a killer feature and extremely useful.
