Looks nice. Has anyone tried tailoring one of these services to appeal to client <-> developer relationships? e.g. selling "your clients can easily edit the emails your app sends out without bugging you / requiring a redeploy."
That seems doable with something like alphamail, but I've yet to see a service that targets that specific need.
- alemhnan 13y agoTo me is quite a deal breaker so far. The code on our website with Amail is really really more simple (no template engine for instance). And they give you out of the box a ton of analytics (geolocalization, bounce, click, open) even for singular mails. Like Amazon SES on steroids. P.S. Not affiliate with amail, just an enthusiastic user. We are using that at CoffeeStrap and we just saved a lot of time in development.
- twerquie 13y agoPostageApp (http://postageapp.com http://postageapp.com) targets that specific need. Web-editable templates, including separated CSS and attachments which are flattened at send time. It's like a CMS for your transactional email.
