I agree with the previous comment; optimization is fun for programmers but in practice, all the modern browsers are more than fast enough already. The biggest problem I have is with browsers sometimes failing to wordwrap text. That should be trivial to fix, compared to the effort that's being spent on esoterica (wordwrap is already implemented after all, it must be just something in web pages messing it up). I did file a bug report for this with Chrome, a year or two ago, but to no avail thus far. Is there any way to get it into the pipeline for being fixed?
