<i>Some people don't value freedom, they value food, shelter and health.</i> I hope you understand that if you are chronically starving, "freedom (of what?)" is the last thing in your mind. That doesn't mean some people prefer slavery; it might just mean that their current situation is so horrible they are willing to trade their freedom for a mouthful.
