I'm not pretending anything. Both of those statements are true. Android is more open than iOS, FxOS is more open than Android. And in every Android topic there is at least one commenter saying that Android isn't truly open.

  That one commenter is usually drowned out to the point that the desire for 'open' is believed to be satisfied by Android. Now that a real open alternative comes along, it's too late.
