How can you implement a static typing system in a language that is dynamically typed?
- awj 13y agoYou can't. You can use type inspection and assertions to clearly delimit borders in your code, but it's really not the same thing.
- programminggeek 13y agoThere is a difference between static typing and strong typing. Ruby is a dynamic language that is strongly typed. This will explain it better than I can: http://www.rubyfleebie.com/ruby-is-dynamically-and-strongly-typed/ http://www.rubyfleebie.com/ruby-is-dynamically-and-strongly-...
