Last year I spent NZ$40 on ordering an album from an artist who isn't well known, but I found on Pandora. Pandora is radio, and radio is marketing. Much like the FM radio I listen to the artists don't make much money, but I'll hear artists I like who I wouldn't have spent $40 on before.
