You don't need to get advice from powerful people, you need to get connections from powerful people.
- jeffclark 13y agoConnections should eventually lead to money (directly or indirectly). If you want money, ask for advice. If you want advice, ask for money.
- startupstella 13y agoyou have to crawl before you can walk. before people will make connections, they need to have a good relationship with you because their reputation is on the line when they make connections.
