Just as they are imposing a policy of severe economic austerity (with little or no results, I may add) to many countries in Europe in order to safeguard the investments they made in those countries ? Mind, I'm not blaming them. They are doing their own interests, as they should (and many of the countries affected are in that situation by their own faults only), but let's not pretend they are somehow different.
