I read the original article (the one by Orson Scott Card) when he originally wrote it and prior to reading it I had heard that he was a religious nut. It's really unfortunate as I truly loved the Ender's Game series. It's not just that he's hate filled, it's that his article is full of logical fallacies. For example, he's written about how gays already have a right to get married: gay men can marry women and gay women can marry men. Somehow he considers gay marriage to be a destroyer of the "sanctity" of marriage, but considers a loveless, lie of a marriage to be perfectly acceptable?
