Hahaha. You know, there's a little truth in that. There does seem to be a sort of.. Captain Planet-esque attitude to all this. "If we can just STOP the carbon everything will MAGICALLY get better and there will be PUPPIES and RAINBOWS." I, for one, envision a future where the climate has already gone to shit and people go, "Fuck. Instead of spending hundreds of billions of dollars trying to reduce our carbon output, why didn't we spend it on ways to deal with the EFFECTS of the change instead!"
