  Indeed, the article is credited to him, thanks for pointing that out (missed that!). But the original posted site ("smartmotorist") didn't seem to have any credits, so unclear if it's a rip-and-post or if Mr. Beaty was part of "smartmotorist". Regardless, I think Trafficwaves.org gives more info, so wanted to share.
