I found the idea that one person can make a huge difference really interesting, I will have to start experimenting with this myself. All the roads OP wrote about are where I drive, but the Lynnwood ramp he talked about recently got expanded. This also makes me want to make some sort of simple traffic simulator to do experiments like this, does anyone know if any already exist?
