History books do not portray all leaders, even American leaders, in a favorable light. A perusal of history books will come up with quite a number of people portrayed very poorly indeed. A glaring example: Nixon.
- rantanplan 13y agoWhen I talk about history, I don't mean about 50-60 years back. If 20-30(or more) years from now a new kind of government emerges and thinks for some reason, that Nixon being a hero serves its purpose, then he will become a hero. This is being done for thousands of years. Actually it's one of the first things you learn in history class.
