RTFA. PV and Wind are cheaper than nuclear. So you can have what you want (no more people dying from coal pollution) without the immense risks of nuclear (The article makes very weak point about these being irrelevant. They are not.)
- mpyne 13y agoIf you're talking about PV/wind vs. nuclear, you're not really "fighting" nuclear. Everyone thinks this even after being reminded about energy storage, the wild fluctuation in capacity factor, etc., and I don't understand why.
