Just a small version of what what happened after 9/11, no? 9/11 was used as an excuse for two invasions, and the loss of many human rights and freedoms. While I agree that it is indeed vile to use this soldier's death as an excuse, its sadly normal. And in this case, they picked a good target to use. The family are unlikely to oppose the government their lad loyally served. I would like to be wrong about that.
