The only thing stopping me from making this switch is that doing arithmetic in the url bar stops working... I use that quite a bit. Is this some deep integration with chrome or can it be made to work with ddg as well?

- lloeki 13y agoIf you use bash, you can also use $(( 3 + 2 )). More often than not, if it gets cumbersome to fit it into Spotlight, I'm going to fire up a Python console.
- lloeki 13y agoThe fact that Spotlight does arithmetic seems like it's regularly overlooked.

- depsypher 13y agoI'd rather not have to hit send, and that only works when google search is enabled unfortunately :(
- drummer32 13y agoThis work only if you have search autosuggest on, which basically send everything you type in the address bar (includeing urls) to google.
