I'm guessing that this isn't referring to an IPO and a more accurate title might be "LaunchSky now open to the public"?
- vlokshin 13y agoReally good input - sorry about that. Unfortunately, this is NOT referencing an IPO :) I can't seem to change it on my own, will try to get in touch with an mod. If there is a mod reading this, please adjust the title to: "Starting from HN Post, LaunchSky now open to the public"
- nicklovescode 13y agoAlso believed IPO at first sight, +1 for changing title.
- vlokshin 13y agoSorry again about that, definitely confusing/misleading. I emailed info@ycombinator.com with the request - it seems to be the only access to mod email. If there is a way I can edit the title on my own, or someone else I can get in touch with to mod it, please let me know.
- vlokshin 13y agoUpdate - they changed the title to just "LaunchSky". Less misleading, yes - but also not very encouraging for a click through or upvote. No one knows what LaunchSky is yet, that's a part of the reason we're posting here. I'm very disappointed with how they handled this.
- nimblespring 13y agoIt definitely didn't turn me off from learning more, it was just a little confusing. It looks like a neat platform!
