I'm amazed you stuck with a host that lost your data. That would be a complete deal breaker for me; I've never lost so much as a byte with Linode over six years.
- sondh 13y agoThey lose my entire VPS too but I always think it's my job to backup my data (they have automatic backup, which costs a bit extra). And they did credit me for their fault so I think it's fair enough.

- JesseObrien 13y agoTo be a bit more specific, I was moving some sites over from linode as a test to see if they would perform the same on DO. So effectively they only lost some test stuff. Still data loss though, like you said.
