Open source project/developer 100% funded?

are you an open source developer?, did you succeed to get funds to dedicate 100% to your project ? Besides common answers like: you have to charge for support, dual mode license or any similar, i would like to hear from people who really have been able to accomplish that, anyone want to share his experience and suggestions ?
