The last part of your argument reminds me of back home where rednecks with confederate flags would say "THEY HAVE MORE RIGHTS THAN US! THOSE MINORITIES ARE TAKIN' OVER".
Perhaps (well, hopefully) I'm reading into your comment too much though.
