- omni 13y agoPresentation of offerings from multiple partner companies is often randomized to prevent bickering between said partner companies over their positioning.
- jere 13y agoAh, that makes sense. I didn't think of that, though I'll note that the most popular bundle I know of (Humble Bundle) doesn't seem to do that.
- omni 13y agoI'm not affiliated with Humble Bundle, but most of the offerings I've seen from them fit on a single line in the default presentation. I would be less upset about being second-from-the-right than I would be about being below the fold.
- WalterSear 13y agoI'd hazard that it's about five minutes harder to set up that way and makes sure that each product gets equal attention space.
- bearwithclaws 13y agoNot A/B test. I just use jQuery to shuffle the order. Inspired by Stripe's team page I guess: https://stripe.com/about https://stripe.com/about
- jere 13y agoI only get about half the offers above the fold and some obviously look more interesting than others. I'm wondering if it would be valuable to know which offers are correlated with higher purchase rates?
