I would have preferred OS X Sea Lion.
- stock_toaster 13y agoCan't wait for "yosemite"
- Watabou 13y agoMe too actually, Mavericks sounds pretty lame compared to the great cat releases.
- niels_olson 13y agoAre you serious? Mavericks is awesome. One of the greatest surf breaks ever. Every bit as lethal as any of those cats and more a testament to human achievement. Personally I am looking forward to releases like Cloudbreak, Teahupoo, Waimea, and Shipsterns.
- outside2344 13y agoIt can only be places that inspire them near their offices, so expect a good stream of Californian and Chinese names. Probably mostly Chinese given that most of the sweatshops are there.
- FireBeyond 13y agoCloudbreak would have been awesome for the introduction to the new naming scheme.
- JimmaDaRustla 13y agoOS X Snoop Lion would have made me happy too.
- daniel-cussen 13y agoWhat about Sea Cat? It's a small marine mammal in Chile and Perú that is about the size of a cat. It might even be a feline.
- inovator 13y agoI would have preferred Hello Kitty
- suyash 13y agoI would have preferred Sea Lion too until the OSX 10.9 and after that they could have shifted to California spots etc
- songgao 13y agoSeriously, why not Sea Lion? That icon looks great!
