Maybe his hypothetical extradition will cause a sort-of diplomatic "mess" between Beijing and Honk Kong, leaving him a limbo where neither HK nor China will grant him total asylum but wont extradite him either
- latch 13y agoThere are two areas where SAR have little independence: defense and foreign affairs. Hong Kong will have its own money, postal service, justice, environment ministry, police, ....but it doesn't have a military and its foreign affairs tends to be limited to economic matters.
