A fantastic question, and my answer as a south bay dweller is absolutely-freaking-not. Expensive, hot (for CA), crowded, weak culture:size ratio.
- ChuckMcM 13y agoCan you define what kind of stuff is in the numerator in the 'culture:size' ratio? I'm trying to get a handle on what people mean when they use the word.
- Domenic_S 13y agoGood-quality & varied restaurants at all price points. Quality theaters (both movie & traditional). Parts of town you'd feel comfortable walking alone at 1am. Art, both public (public installations, statues, etc) & private (museums & so forth). Varied & competing viewpoints/ideas/industry. Crime.
