I've used Google's Keyword Tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) to estimate the number of people searching for keywords that might indicate they'd be a customer; however, you should be careful about any conclusions you draw unless you're keywords are very specific.
- puzzle-out 18y agoAlso, Google trends (http://www.google.com/trends http://www.google.com/trends) can give a more impressionistic idea of whether a market, as judged by search requests, is growing.
- csomar 18y agoif you don't know it, Google Search Insights is much more powerful and gives better estimates
