Yes...but the core of a libertarian is that they value their LIBERTY over anything else. It can't just be that Thiel wants to make money. Would he be involved in a company that is systematically eroding the very liberties that he publicly claims to cherish, all for a few more hundreds of millions of dollars? I doubt it. So there must be something else going on - and I am genuinely interested.
