I am from India. Recently Indian government wanted to pass a law legalizing consensual sex between people above 16 years old (the current limit is 18). I wrote a lengthy blogpost supporting the move. I was also applying for US immigration during that time and my attorney advised me that I better take it off my blog before applying because if the US authorities search for my name on Google and find it they might think I am a pedo.
