I'm wondering why so many people use bitbucket/github for their (commercial) projects instead of setting up their own repo management system (like RhodeCode). It's not hard to set up and you can have as much repositories as you want to.
- andy_adams 13y agoJust my opinion, but having a repo set up in 30 seconds vs. 2 hours (or whatever the overhead is for RhodeCode) is a big win when you have a million other things you're trying to piece together. Managing another system just means more headache. With hosted solutions, I'm all set.
