Following a movement or an ideology is fine but when you start breaking international law and doing crimes against humanity, you can explain to me why you did it all you want. I don't care. Somewhere along the line you stopped thinking (or never thought at all) and that's where you lost me.

- ordinary 13y agoI think it's a mistake to read this (or the book) in order to understand this one person's reasons and motivations. Look at it more generally. It is important to understand what drives people to commit atrocities, if we are to prevent it happening in the future.
