I don't mind the mortgage tax deduction, but it's only fair to add a similar deduction for renters. It should be a "shelter is a basic human need" deduction.

- gaius 13y agoYou know, in Switzerland, if you own your home outright, the money you are not paying in mortgage is counted as income and taxed accordingly.
