I feel like this idea was spawned from a brainstorming session at The Onion under the premise of "let's make a startup." 1. There's no way I trust this company or its employees to act appropriately with my mail 100% of the time. 2. I'd be afraid of missing something important due to an unknown delay in the scanning process. 3. Their database will get cracked, and customer information leaked, when they get big enough to be a worthwhile target. It's only a matter of time.
