The privacy aspect is a deal-breaker for someone like me, but I think it's worth considering that you could just use this service for a particular subset of all your mail. It's easy to find scenarios where privacy is important, but isn't it also possible to find scenarios where it isn't? Think of it as an alternative to PO boxes. No hassle with anthrax, ricin, and bombs in the mail anymore. (Although they probably won't use this in the ad copy for the service.)
