Fascinating. I have the same symptoms as described by the author, but they're due to a major depression. I stay in my comfort zone, and am lacking the brilliance I had earlier, if I may be so unhumble. I can't write code anymore. I'm sad for the author, but it's interesting to recognize myself in a completely different setting.
