But in that case (iirc), the video is displayed as a black square. There's no window borders here either.

- simias 13y agoWell if the video is hardware blended there could be anything in the framebuffer, so it could be black or checkered, I see no incompatibility. The lack of borders is definitely harder to explain that way though. Definitely looks like some form of deliberate "limitation".
