This is one of the worst analogies I have even been exposed too. It is a straightforward issue, we don't need an analogy to grasp it, it was almost explicitly designed to muddy the waters. It did a good job of hiding circle reasoning, logical fallacies and other failures of critical thinking. EDIT: I do believe there is a real issue around gender in both the technology and nursing industries. This article just adds nothing to the conversation.
