Your comment didn't add anything to the discussion. You liked but couldn't finish reading the article... well, how is that useful information, why would anybody care about what you read? The comment is fluff and noise, not worthy of occupying space higher up in the thread among posts with real informational value. The downvotes weren't for having the opinion, they were for making a post that conveys no interesting content or information. (I didn't downvote, but I understand the mindset of those that do.)
