Seems like a short term business, especially if self-driving car fleets take off.
- geofflewis 13y agoIf self driving cars take off, Lyft will be the computing network that manages on-demand transportation including via self-driving cars. Not at all a short term business.
- wavefunction 13y agoCan you expand on why Lyft would beat out another competitor like Uber, Sidecar or Google? (I'm honestly curious and interested in learning more!)
- toomuchtodo 13y agoPretty sure Google is going to be the system that manages self-driving cars. No other organization has shown able to manage data at the scale they do.
- philwelch 13y agoSo Lyft (and I guess Uber) are basically Netflix then. (As in--why mail people DVD's when streaming is right around the corner?) As with Netflix, they're the best positioned to ride that particular wave.
