Google App Engine does not support mcrypt

Interesting to know that `Google App Engine` does not support `mycrypt` which is a key library in PHP for encryption supporting DES, TripleDES, Blowfish (default), 3-WAY, SAFER-SK64, SAFER-SK128, TWOFISH, TEA, RC2 and GOST. Does it mean we have to port everything to `openssl` just to use App Engine ? I think they should reconsider ...
