Simple Way to Lower Your Energy Bill Using "Granola"
- SEMW 13y agoTLDR: someone's trying to sell their version of cpufreq_ondemand to people who don't realise it's built in to the OS. If anyone's wondering how they got their 30% power saved figure: their method for measuring power consumption without Granola starts "Set the operating system power settings to the High profile in the Power Options"[1] - in windows, which I'm guessing is going to disable the built-in frequency governor.
