I'm always amused by how quickly drinks seem to go in order to save costs when the cost of drinks for an entire small department of developers is nothing compared to the salary of a single one of them, yearly. Not to mention the whole "developers and loose change" not going together thing so we tend to value them as worth far more than we should.
