There is a lot going on outside the HN bubble, but this is ok, some markets are simply more closed off to outsiders. Life sciences software is not particularly open, a lot of vertical players in there now and "verticalness" is increasing. HNers will likely completely miss that boat, but again, this doesn't mean anything there are enough other things happening and bigger fish to fry.
