Theoretically if said base could hover above the surface of the sea-bed during an earthquake scenario, perhaps it could resist most of the damage, provided it could remain stable.
- luke_s 13y agoHmmm, perhaps if it was sort of tethered to the ocean floor using cables? Using a tethered base would also allow you to build in shallower water, as the flexibility would allow you to withstand some of the effects of a tsunami.
